Xero Roadshow 2013

Working as a Xero accountant, I had the pleasure of attending the annual Xero Roadshow here in Sydney yesterday. I can honestly say that I was blown away by the rapid advances the team at Xero are making, constantly updating and refining their product with some amazing upgrades to come over the next twelve months and beyond.

For those of you reading this that haven’t heard of Xero, Xero is a cloud based accounting platform that allows both the small business owner and the bookkeeper/accountant to collaborate on the same accounting file using live up to the minute data in the cloud on one single ledger. No more messy spreadsheets or confusion over which data file is the current one. There are so many advantages to this approach, especially the amount of time saved in handling data files or emailing files back and forth between client and accountant. ·         Simplified tax code reporting making it easier than ever before to prepare your BAS. (Who doesn't love that!)
